Whether you have years of advocacy experience or none at all, NAEYC’s Public Policy Forum will provide you the tools you need to expand your policy knowledge, strengthen your advocacy skills, and develop and deepen relationships with other educators and partners across the country who share our commitment to supporting young children and the early childhood education profession.

This year’s event will be held virtually, with dozens of live and on-demand sessions, in recognition of staffing and financial challenges facing childcare programs and providers, and to provide equitable, accessible opportunities for a diverse group of new and seasoned educators and advocates from all over the country to access the benefits of Public Policy Forum! We are particularly excited this year to be partnering with the Division for Early Childhood of the Council for Exceptional Children to highlight and embed content on advocating for and supporting inclusive care for children with disabilities and developmental delays.

Key Dates and Times

Live keynote, plenary, and concurrent sessions will be held on the virtual platform on:

• Sunday, February 25, 2024: 1:00 – 5:00 pm EST
• Monday, February 26, 2024: 1:00 – 5:00 pm EST
• Sessions will also be available on-demand – along with more than a dozen hours of additional pre-recorded content and resources – through March 2024!

State team meetings and virtual meetings with Congressional offices, as well as in-district, in-person meetings with state and federal legislators, will be scheduled over several days following Public Policy Forum.

Cost and Registration

NAEYC’s Public Policy Forum is a members-only function. This year, we’ve made it easier for those without a current NAEYC membership to join us!

• $100 for current NAEYC members
• $130 for non-NAEYC members. This fee includes the cost of an Entry-level NAEYC membership, so you can register for Policy Forum and become a NAEYC member.
• PLEASE NOTE: The event registration is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
